SUMMER FUN

I sometimes think we're going to skip summer in Toronto. It's been wet, chilly, dark these past few days. Of course there were a couple of days where the weather was nice. And of course I had been cooped up in my office. I'm not complaining - I really don't like extremely hot weather. It just brings a lot of health problems for me - asthma, dermatitis, and high blood pressure (haha, the latter was figuratively speaking).

Anyhoo, I've got a few activities lined up for this summer. Here goes:
  1. Watch the Dragonboat race this weekend (Jun 20). I've always wanted to see that since I came here but have never been. This year, the urge to go is stronger but I heard it's going to be wet this weekend - so I'm praying for a miracle.
  2. Trip to NJ the week of Canada Day and 4th of July (US). It's our baby cousin's graduation from high school and my mom's family is celebrating.
  3. Side trip to NYC - with the NJ trip. So much to do, so little time.
  4. Planned to rent a cottage in Wasaga sometime after that - with my family. I hope this time this will materialize. It's been a long time since I have enjoyed outdoor activity.

So there you have it. I hope it's an enjoyable summer this year.
