I'm Back! (I think)

Hello world. Do people still read this blogger shtuff? Gosh it's been a while. I was reading my posts from way back, reflecting if I'd grown from my past experiences. Well, some of my previous musings are still pretty much what I ask myself still everyday. And some, in hindsight, just seems a bit silly.

Aside from my test mobile post this year, I haven't really written anything substantial for the past couple years or so. A lot has happenned in my life...

FAMILY LIFE:
I got married December 2010. I had a lovely 11-course Chinoise dinner a week before we departed for the Dominican for our beach wedding. It was a beautiful day to get married.

But it wasn't all peachy. Week's leading to this I discovered something about the person I married for the first time in 7 years that we have been dating. I can't really divulge what it is (umm.. he has webbed feet...NOT!) - but in the end, I accepted it and went through with the plan. I'm still waiting for it to backfire on me. But hoping it won't.

It's been good in the last 7 months though. Aside from the surprise I got pre-wedding, there have been no more surprises. We  have now decided to start our family. So this is probably something I will be posting in this blog for the next while. First of all, it is amazing that TTC (trying to conceive) is a topic in itself in the world wide web. I've been doing lots of reading and it's been educational for me. Having said that, stay tuned.

CAREER:
I've changed job descriptions in the past few months. Now I can really say that my career is taking off. As with any other change, there have been some challenges - like working with interesting characters, adjusting to the new team dynamics, dealing with new egos. Despite all the drama unfolding in my head, I'm still excited to see what is ahead. Can't help but miss bedside nursing once in a while though. And I mean in a blue moon.

TRAVEL PLANS:
I've been itching to go to Europe for a couple of years now. France to be exact. The hubby and I have been planning to make it there this year, before his gramps leave this world (he is turning 100!). But it's too expensive and there are competing priorities (FAMILY LIFE). But by hook and by crook, I will make it to Europe. :)
