i think i was tagged a couple of tmes already. and i'm sick at home with nothing better to do so...here's 25 random facts about me.
1. I am driven to succeed. when i was younger my dad would say to me in a negative connotation - "ambisyosa gyud ka". but i am not THAT type of ambisyosa - i just want to do everything that i can so in the end i have no regrets.
2. i have asthma. not as bad as i had it when i was a kid (i was a frequent flyer in our local hospital) but i'm still living with it.
3. i like TEAL. my room's wall is teal. it reminds me of the ocean and it calms me down.
4. i want to be in a partnership but not necessarily in a marriage. marriage is just so final. there has to be a little room for flexibility. dont get me wrong i still want a partnership based on fidelity and undying love. its the ugly side of marriage i want to avoid. if i DO get married - ITS because my family won the argument (and i succumb to the idea of a happy, pain-free marriage).
5. i think my body clock has started to tick. and i hate it coz i dont want to be whiny about it.
6. i wanted to be an astronaut.
7. i've always had a dog until i came here to Canada. i want one but my parents dont think we can handle it. dogs are like children here.
8. i have a generally positive outlook. i hate people who are so negative or as so focused on the sad things in life.
9. i miss my close friends - i wish they moved to Canada.
10. my boyfriend is my bestfriend. he knows me inside out. i dont have to act prim and proper when he's around. i scare him with my farts, body hair in inconspicuous places - he laughs and acts like he's grossed out but he still sticks by my side... he more like the girl in the relationship.
11. i have not gone to church in a long while - HALA!!!
12. i still believe in and respect a higher form of being though.
13. i am selectivcely touchy feely -only with my BF, a kiss on the cheek to my closest friends, and maybe a snuggle with my dad. anything outside that feels awkward to me.
14. i can be very insensitive sometimes. direct. i like to see people's reactions to things that i say.
15. my sis thinks i am wasteful and i do not know how to run a household. i'm tryng to change this though.
16. i can cook - when i'm in the right mood to cook. and that is rare.
17. i make a kick-ass baked pasta.
18. i wonder why i am making a career in health informatics because i already know that staying in a cubicle drives me nuts.
19. i love school! if someone pays me good money to be in school then i would do it.
20. i have a fear of driving. enough said. but i am starting to hate the inconvenience of taking public transit. and i want to own a mini-cooper.
21. i sleep in weird positions. my specialty - sitting cross-legged with pillows piled on the triangle of my legs and my head is on the side on top of the pillows with my arms crossed on top of my head. all these under the quilt. can you see it?
22. i love graphic designs. art. photography. but not too much post-processing bullsh*t.
23. my social life has changed dramatically. i now find partying, boozing, and clubbing lame.
24. i love dessert. its my favorite part of the meal.
25. i am slightly OCD. i get upset when things are not where its supposed to be. i believe there should be order in things.
